2014 Osage Orange wood, plexi, cardstock, cotton handkerchief

This piece was a historical exploration and no power tools were used in its creation. The Osage Orange table was entirely hand carved and the Cotton Handkerchiefs were hand woven. It depicts images of what Amy’s three grandfathers who fought for the Confederacy may have looked like. Two of the three handkerchiefs are stained with blood noting which of the three did not return home. This piece was shown in a Gallery in Columbia, South Carolina.
