This sculpture was made during the Summer Residential Governor’s School program at the University of Richmond. It opened Amy’s eyes to using a wide variety of materials and making BIG! It also cemented her desire to create 3-dimensional art. The idea represented in this piece was breaking free as she was about to transition into the college phase of her life.
